28 Sep Botanas Culichi Opens at Columbia Gardens Food Truck Plaza
KENNEWICK, Wash. Botanas Culichi is the latest mobile eatery to join the Food Truck Plaza at Columbia Gardens Wine & Artisan Village. The food truck is open Wednesdays to Sundays from noon to 7 p.m.
Owner and chef Silvia Aguilera and her daughter Brenda are serving a variety of botanas or “snacks” popular in Culiacán, their hometown in Mexico. Customer favorites include tostada ceviche with shrimp, Tostilocos and Red Bull loco fruit drinks.
The Food Truck Plaza at 325 E. Columbia Gardens Way off East Columbia Drive in Kennewick is also home to Bobablastic Tri-Cities, Culture Shock Bistro, Swampy’s BBQ and Taste of Wok. The food trucks are surrounded by Columbia Gardens’ winery buildings with tasting rooms for Bartholomew Winery, Monarcha Winery, Gordon Estate Winery and Muret-Gaston Winery.
