Columbia Point Eye Care Groundbreaking Event Planned

KENNEWICK, Wash. – The first medical facility is breaking ground at Vista Field on Tuesday, April 22, beginning at 10 a.m.

Port of Kennewick invites community members to attend the Columbia Point Eye Care clinic groundbreaking at 6737 Azure Drive in Kennewick to celebrate the continuation of private-sector construction at Vista Field.

Owners Dr. Brandon Furness and Dr. Royce Barney are planning a 7,000-square-foot building with dedicated medical offices and optical retail, including around 1,500 square feet of retail tenant space. The eye clinic will be constructed on Lot 31, a 6,826-square-foot parcel with frontage on Azure Drive. Construction is anticipated to be completed by this fall.

Furness and Barney also own Columbia Point Eye Care clinics in Richland and Kennewick.

Port of Kennewick’s Vista Field development will blend mixed-use neighborhoods with urban lifestyle amenities. The port is following a community-driven master plan to sell lots for private-sector investment to transform the site into a vibrant, regional town center.
