29 May Rollin’ and The Ciao Wagon at Columbia Gardens
Sweet & Savory Options Available
Rollin’ Fresh Ice Cream and The Ciao Wagon have joined the Port of Kennewick’s Food Truck Plaza on east Columbia Drive. These vendors join the previously announced Frost Me Sweet Mobile Desserts and Swampy’s BBQ in serving food at the waterfront plaza located within the Columbia Garden Wine and Artisan Village.
Rollin’ makes Thai style, custom-made rolled ice cream. With a motto of supporting and supplying local, Rollin’s ever-changing and diverse menu offers local dairy and seasonal fruit fresh. When Rollin’ is not at the Columbia Gardens Food Truck Plaza, owner Jackie Prather plans to set up at the Lighthouse Plaza on Clover Island. Prather said she is thrilled to have a location in east Kennewick and looks forward to becoming an active part of Kennewick’s vibrant waterfront.
The Ciao Wagon mobile bistro combines simple but impactful Mediterranean and Italian flavors that keep foodies coming back for more. Chef Jessie Ayala has a passion for creating great food using simple, quality ingredients. He honed his skills during culinary school, at a variety of Seattle-area restaurants, a “wine country” bed and breakfast and restaurant. The Ciao Wagon offers a mix of feature dishes and standard fare including items such as lemon pasta, gyro sandwich, chicken smash sandwich, brie and black pepper nachos, and more.
Food truck hours and location may vary, please contact vendors directly for their current menus, days, hours and location of operation.
The Food Truck Plaza at the Village is located on Columbia Gardens Way – a waterfront loop road located between Date Street and Cedar Street just north of and parallel to Columbia Drive, near the Cable Bridge in east Kennewick, Washington. The Columbia Gardens Wine & Artisan Village is a community revitalization endeavor undertaken by Port of Kennewick in partnership with City of Kennewick, Benton County, Hanford Area Economic Investment Fund Committee, and the private sector.
